The
club is an informal non-profit making organisation. It
was formed in 1999 to give people somewhere to go and
enjoy themselves, instead of watching T.V. every night.
The committee comprises of volunteers who are willing
to give up their spare time to help keep the club running.
The
object of the club is to have fun, things may not run
perfectly but that is not really important as long as
people enjoy themselves.
The
club uses the local village hall for its meetings on
the first and third Friday of every month from 8pm to
11pm. The club also arranges outings to various attractions
which is useful as no trips leave from the village.
There
is no bar at the village hall but people are quite welcome
to bring along their own
